My unusual name? We can credit Madame Alto's younger sister with that. When she was a child Madame Alto had a grey tigerstrip cat named Captain Video, shown in the above picture. Although her sister could not remember my predecessor, she thought the name was rather distinguished and hence I was christened Captain Video. It could have been worse. Madame Alto wanted to name me "Mr. Bojangles". (Shudder!)

Candour compells me to admit that I AM far handsomer than the original Captain Video. There may be a hint of Ragdoll in my background, but I'm not telling. Looking at me, you might think that I'm a rather ordinary cat, but appearances can be deciving.
