Characters Aplenty!

La Boheme called for a chorus of diverse characters.

Some of us were "rich" and some were, well, middle-class to poor.

Here is a wealthy family out on the town for Christmas Eve.

Naturally the rich got all the nice costumes.

We wouldn't say that made them snobbish, now would we?

Actually, sometimes the rich DID associate with the lower classes...somewhat.

They weren'treally cut out to be quite THAT exclusive!

After all, we spoke the same language...

...and in most cases that was NOT Italian!

But alas, some of us didn't fair quite so well in spite of efforts to be democratic.
