Along with a new chorusmaster and chorus,
Lyric Opera also had a change of venue.
We moved from a thousand seat theater
into the HUGE Municipal Auditorium.

It's rather a large space for human voices to fill.
But the advantage is more stage space to accomodate larger sets!

The disadvantage was that
I couldn't get very many good stage shots -
I was just too far away.

The dressing room was spacious
and we didn't have to share with the principal singers,
(although we DID have a boy or two come through!)

The mirrors were kind of hard to get close to, however.
